Diani Beach Touch Rugby

The 2nd Diani Beach Touch Rugby was a successful event, the games were high standard, players were fast and gave all their energy to boost their team to final. 20 sides were competing from Kenya and the Uk. We had 3 great days of very high rugby in a very friendly and warm atmosphere.

The winners are:

Shield Final
 Heart of Diani won Colobus Trust by 3 - 1

Bowl Final
 Kenya Navy won Camp Kenya girls by 3 - 1

Main Final
 Newick Kijanas won Les Gaulois by 3 - 1

This event would have not been possible without your input, and we hope you have enjoyed participating as much as we have enjoyed partnering you.

We are thrilled to announce we have raised Ksh 100.000/= to the Rugby Age Grade Programme, to take 600 kids into rugby, to develop their rugby skills and prevent them falling into drugs or becoming street children. The programme is run under the KRFU and the Rugby Patrons Society. The money raised will pay boots, shirts, medical supplies and food. Thank you all for your substantial donation.

DIANI BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Created 2 years ago to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ali Barbour - Diani - South Coast of Kenya, the Diani Beach Music Festival was attended by a huge audience, showing the need and pertinence of an East African Music Festival.

Therefore the journey continues with 2 days and nights of East African Music, celebrating our vibrant culture and the best of East African Music and joined by a British band fusing style and culture.
